La Paz

Time to make like a chicken and cross the road to continue my self-guided walking tour.

How cool is that? A lovely mural on the facade of a bank.

Could he be in a more perfect spot? Sitting there under the protective wings of the condors
The colorful old town center. A great walking town, for sure.

Don't ask. Some people got light on them and some didn't. It was late afternoon and the sun was low and the light warm and the photographer's best friend.

And before long, just moving with the weekend crowd, found myself at the Central Square of La Paz.

The Santo Domingo Church

A shrine within the church

Here, pigeons ruled. They controlled this square and the people in it.

People were coming from all over to spoil the flying rodents (aka winged rats).

I saw the one open deck sightseeing bus here again. And no, sadly, he did not stop on a pigeon.

An brief exchange of hard looks going on here.

Then it was back to pigeon watching
